Forbes reports on Tinder and its recent acquisition of Ankur Jain’s Humin.
Tinder is looking to move beyond the simple swipe.
Today Tinder, the Match Group’s hot dating app, announced that it has acquired Humin, a San Francisco app company that made a smart contact list (also called Humin) and location-based networking app Knock Knock.
Under the deal terms, the Humin team will remain intact in its San Francisco headquarters. Humin founders Ankur Jain and David Wyler (both Forbes Under 30 members) will join the Tinder leadership team with Jain acting as VP of Product and Wyler VP of Partnerships.
